July's Performance Award: BRITISH NATIONS CUP TEAM

The British Team’s emphatic victory in the Hickstead Nations Cup has been voted ‘Performance of the Month’ for July.
The Team consisting of Peter Charles with Murka's Pom D'Ami (Owner: Olga White & Team Murka Ltd), William Funnell and Billy Congo (Owner: Billy Stud), Tina Fletcher with Hallo Sailor (Owner: Lady Pauline Harris) and Michael Whitaker riding GIG Amai (Owner: Beatrice Mertens), recorded six jumping clears from seven rounds, to take victory over Germany by an amazing fifteen penalties.
The Performance of the Month Award is an amalgamation of the former Showjumper and Owner of the Month Awards, and recognises the achievements of not just our riders, but our horses and owners too.
Chairman of Performance Development at British Showjumping, Clare Whitaker commented:
“The Performance of the Month Award not only recognises the fantastic achievements of our riders, but also our horses and their owners, without which none of it would be possible.
It gives me great pleasure to award the July Performance of the Month to the British Team, for their incredible win in the Hickstead Nations Cup. My congratulations go to all of them and their hard working Team’s”.
