Jonathan Egmore booked his place in the Equissage Pulse British Novice Final with his own Online TN at The Suffolk Equestrian Centre.
Forty-six hopefuls contended the first of three rounds over Sue Peasley’s 1m course and 25 unlocked the key to go on to round two. Fourteen jumped a second clear to advance to the final jump-off, Jonathan finding the shortest round on the five-year-old mare to win by 1.68 seconds.
Alex Hewett steered Nonnie Anouk A into second, with Heidi Luck claiming the final qualifying spot aboard Cloudy Star.
Mollie Rose Smith was on a mission in the hotly contented Equissage Pulse British Novice Second Round at Prestige Equestrian Centre, to take victory on Greenvale Dante.
The original 46 starters over the 1m track were reduced to 22 for round two, with an eventual ten coming forward for the final jump-off. A determined Mollie and the six-year-old gelding were not deterred by the strong competition and outpaced all their rivals by 0.85 seconds.
Emma-Jo Slater, who had three rides in the jump-off, used all her experience and filled the final two qualifying spots with Kimba Star Time and Kimba Luidun as well as taking fourth place aboard Magnus SMH.
