Holly Truelove dominates the Equithème Leading Pony Showjumper of the Year Qualifier at South View Equestrian Centre

Holly Truelove, aged fourteen from Worlaby, Lincolnshire was on top form on Monday as she secured an impressive win in the Equithème Leading Pony Showjumper of the Year Qualifier at South View Equestrian Centre in Wettenhall, Cheshire.
All thirty-three combinations had their sights set on picking up one of the three qualification tickets on offer for the Championship Final held at Horse of the Year Show later this year. The challenging course saw only six combinations jump clear in the first round.
It was a great day for Holly as she produced two impressive rounds of jumping that were both speedy and accurate and proved hard to beat. Riding Rextor D’or, a 13 year-old grey stallion owned by Barrie Truelove, Holly took top of the leader board with a time of 37.65 seconds.
The riders and ponies that finished in first to fourth took home the chance to compete in the Equithème National 148cm Championship at the British Showjumping National Championships.

The Horse of the Year Show 2018 will take place from the 3rd – 7th October at Birmingham’s NEC. The British Showjumping National Championships 2018 will take place during the 7th – 12th August at the National Agricultural and Exhibition Centre (NAEC), Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.
