Equi-Trek to support the British Showjumping Business Partnership for the sixth consecutive year

Equi-Trek, the largest producer of horseboxes and trailers in the UK, has signed up to support the British Showjumping Business Partnership for the sixth consecutive year. In doing so, Equi-Trek will remain a pivotal partner in underpinning the performance pathway programme via the funding of the International Stairway series amongst other national series, finals and events.

A family run business, Equi-Trek specialises in horse transport; from lightweight, towable horse trailers with a safety enhancing side-ramp, to the professionals 26 tonne Equi-Trek Enterprise. Since the company was founded in 1999 with the launch of the industry’s first side-loading horse trailer with living accommodation, Equi-Trek has expanded to become one of the world’s leading equestrian brands. Since 2015 Equi-Trek has been a supplier to the British Equestrian Teams and is endorsed by some of Europe’s leading riders as “the best on the market” including John Whitaker, William Whitaker and Performance Manager Di Lampard.

Equi-Trek pride themselves in the functionality, strength and value of their horseboxes. Their vehicles are strength tested to give peace of mind to their customers that their vehicle is as safe as it can be in the event of an accident. Equi-Trek remain the only horsebox manufacturer in the UK to build exclusively on a brand new chassis and hold the prestigious VCA European Type Approval across their range. Equi-Trek trailers and horseboxes have proved hugely successful in the UK and now have thousands of loyal, happy customers across the world. From humble beginnings on the outskirts of West Yorkshire, they are now the largest exporter of vehicles to Europe and as far afield as the USA, Australia and New Zealand. Equi-Trek has over 20 approved UK dealerships and almost 50 worldwide.

Tom Janion, Managing Director of Equi-Trek commented “We are delighted once again to be supporting British Showjumping through the Business Partnership. We have many customers from the world of showjumping and have a vast range of horseboxes to suit everyone from the one horse owner to international riders.”

Maria Haig, Head of Communications for British Showjumping added “We couldn’t be happier to announce Equi-Trek’s sixth consecutive year of alignment with the Business Partnership. Our alignment with Equi-Trek has gone from strength to strength and we are pleased that they have again chosen British Showjumping as a platform for promoting their range of horse transport.”
