Ella and Billy Galleon Capture Voltaire Design Win

Ella Derbyshire and the seven-year-old Billy Galleon captured the Voltaire Design CSIAm-A Platinum Two Phase on the third day of the Equitop Bolesworth Young Horse Championships.

By Billy Congo, the bag gelding has been ridden by both William and Pippa Funnell before Ella took over the ride.

It was a close run battle for second with Laura Jackson and Gloria just holding on to runner-up position from Gemma Wright, who is in great form riding the grey, Cool Boy for Windmill Farm Estate.

Ronnie Jones moved from the Castle and into the International Arena continuing his fantastic run to win the Equerry Horse Feeds CSIAm-A Bronze Two Phase with Premier Diamond.

Keeping a constant rhythm throughout and with a sharp turn into the double, Ronnie and the bay mare showed their class.

A second amateur win for Ronnie, they scorched round in a blistering 29.54 more than two seconds ahead of runner-up Vicky Burns and Denzel II.

Polly Shaw, a former winner in the amateurs at the Theraplate UK Liverpool International Horse Show came home third with the stylish grey, Golden Grove Ait A, maintaining their position from the previous day.
