Charlotte Smet gets off to a good start at the Europeans
Thursday 15 July 2010

Great Britain’s Children’s European Championship Team travelled over to Jardy, France earlier this week for their European Championship.
The Children’s fist qualifying competition took place yesterday, where Great Britain’s Charlotte Smet took third in the first Individual Qualifier.
13 year old Belgium based Charlotte Smet rode her mother’s (Louise) 10 year old liver chestnut gelding Maneken du Coty. The pair jumped clear in a time of 76.58 seconds.
Jake Saywell, Millie Allen, Christie Pritchard and Katie Robertson all jumped clear as well but unfortunately their times were not quick enough to put them in the top five.
The Children’s European Team competition and second Individual Qualifier will take place today.
