British Showjumping’s Team NAF announced for Gijon CSIO5* FEI Nations Cup

Following an invitation to compete in the CSIO5* FEI Nations Cup in Gijon, Spain, the following squad has been selected to represent Great Britain under the title sponsor banner of Team NAF. The competition takes place between the 29th August – 2nd September 2018 at the Las Mestas Sports Centre.

Julie Andrews from Preston, Lancashire with Ayrton IV, a 13 year-old bay gelding owned by Eva Bjorkman

Harry Charles from Alton, Hampshire with ABC Quantum Cruise, a 9 year-old bay gelding owned by Peter Charles MBE

Jamie Gornall from York, North Yorkshire with Christian 25, a 12 year-old grey stallion owned by Gornall Equestrian LLP

Helen Tredwell from Finmere, Buckinghamshire with either Galtur, an 8 year-old British bred grey gelding owned by Philip Tuckwell or Larksong, a 13 year-old British bred grey mare owned by Alan Tredwell and Helen

Ellen Whitaker from Barnsley, South Yorkshire with Arena UK Winston, a 9 year-old black stallion owned by Norman Oley

The Nations Cup competition takes place on Friday 31st August at 15:00 hrs local time and the Grand Prix will be on Sunday 2nd September at 15:30 hrs local time. The Chef d’Equipe accompanying the team will be World Class Performance Manager for Showjumping, Di Lampard.
