Bolesworth Elite Auctions are delighted to announce the release of their 2020 elite foal collection. Boasting an exceptional hand-picked selection of outstanding foals from UK and Irish breeders, the pedigrees featured in this year’s collection once again showcase the very best of sport horse breeding.
Priding itself on the showcasing of young stock out of “black-type” dam lines (either elite performers in their own right to 1.45m level and above or with close relations that have performed to a similar or higher elite level), and by world class stallions, Bolesworth Elite Auctions has rapidly earnt itself the reputation of being one of the most prestigious sport horse auctions in the UK and their 2020 elite foal collection continues to emulate that ethos.
Headline lots include direct progeny out of top Grand Prix mares including Billy Twomey's top 1.60M GP winner Tinka's Serenade and Michael Whitaker’s 1.60M GP winning mare Wild Rose, as well as progeny by world-class sire’s including Cornet Obolensky, Big Star, Conthargos, and Casall Ask.

Taking place at the upcoming Al Shira’aa Bolesworth Young Horse Championships, 19-23 August, bidders at this year’s elite foal auction will be able to bid in three ways; in person (strictly limited to competitors of the Young Horse Championships and their connections allowed on site according to the guidelines), telephone and online.

Having seen Lots sell to America, Europe and Saudi Arabia, it was clear that the online platform had allowed us to achieve our ambitions of international and global reach with our auctions; this can only be a good thing for British Breeding.
Our auctions have always been an integral part of our shows here at Bolesworth, so to be able to host the Elite Foal Auction at the Al Shira’aa Bolesworth Young Horse Championships, albeit to a closed audience, we are very happy to see the return of our live auction, in tandem with our new online platform, and believe this will only further enhance interest in this upcoming collection.”
