BLUE CHIP PONY NEWCOMERS SECOND ROUND AT ARENA UK

The Blue Chip Pony Newcomers second round at Arena UK, in Lincoln held in mid June resulted in a win and HOYS qualification for 16 year old Chantelle Duggan from Pontefact, West Yorkshire riding her mothers, 8 year old chestnut gelding Rumworth Taylors Twilight. Drawn last to go in the jump off Chantelle knew she had to do a quick clear to win, managing to beat 13 year old Katie House, who took the second qualifying ticket to HOYS, on the 9 year old chestnut mare Nelly Kid by just 0.19 seconds.
