Ariat Announced as Sponsor of the British Novice Championships 2026

British Showjumping is delighted to announce Ariat as the official sponsor of the Senior British Novice Championships for 2026.

Ariat, a global leader in performance equestrian footwear and apparel, has been a valued Business Partner of British Showjumping throughout 2025. The move to sponsor the Senior British Novice Championships in 2026 marks the next stage in a growing relationship between the two organisations, reinforcing Ariat’s commitment to supporting riders at the start of their competitive showjumping journey.

The Senior British Novice Championships represent an important milestone within the British Showjumping pathway, showcasing emerging combinations and providing riders with a championship experience at a formative stage of their careers. Ariat’s sponsorship will support the delivery of the Championships and help enhance the experience for competitors, owners and supporters alike.

Ariat has a long-standing reputation for innovation, performance and rider-focused design, making the brand a natural fit for the Senior British Novice Championships and the values of British Showjumping.

Iain Graham, Chief Executive of British Showjumping, said: “We are delighted that Ariat has chosen to extend their involvement with British Showjumping by sponsoring the Senior British Novice Championships in 2026. Their support of the sport and understanding of the importance of developing riders and horses at grassroots and early competitive levels makes them an ideal partner for this championship.”

Melanie Selman, European Marketing Manager at Ariat, added: “We are proud to be sponsoring the Senior British Novice Championships in 2026. Having worked closely with British Showjumping as a Business Partner in 2025, this sponsorship allows us to further support the sport and the riders who are building their competitive foundations.”

The Senior British Novice Championship is a long-established and highly regarded class within the British Showjumping calendar, designed to support the progression of both riders and horses stepping up through the early levels of the sport. Open to adult, associate or junior riders on horses with less than 125 points, the Championship, which is held at the British Showjumping National Championships at Stoneleigh in August, provides an important opportunity to gain championship experience, reward consistent performance, and showcase emerging talent within a competitive environment.
