Darren Smith from Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees riding Leslie Moorhouse’s Hamilton H a 16.2hh, 6 year old bay gelding jumped three superb clear rounds, the final one in 36.08 seconds, to win the Equissage Senior Discovery at Sykehouse Show and qualify for the Cusionbed British Showjumping Scope Festival of Showjumping. Close second, again having jumped three clear rounds, but with the third one in 37.45 seconds was 18 year old Emily Douglas from Barnard Castle, County Durham riding Shannondale Cleo a 15.1hh, 6 year old, bay mare who also qualified to compete in the Equissage Discovery Championship.

The first two combinations qualified to compete at the Cushionbed British Showjumping Scope Festival of Showjumping to be held at Stafford County Showground from 29th August to 4th September 2010.
