Joanne Burns, Lincolnshire Area Representative commented:
There have been some fantastic results from our Lincolnshire members at the Horse of the Year Show. Congratulations to Leonie Aitkenhead who riding her mother's 11 year old, bay gelding Milou de la Grange, jumped double clear in the 138cm Championships finishing an amazing 3rd! The first round height of this class in 1.25 and another Lincolnshire member, Henry Truelove also jumped it on Jenifer Hyde's My Gizmo and after an unlucky pole in the first round finished a very creditable 11th especially as My Gizmo is 22 years young. These are two very talented riders who I'm sure we will be hearing a lot more from in the future. Well done. Representing the Seniors was Elizabeth Falkinder, who riding her own 11 year old, bay mare, Karla III for finished 6th in the British Showjumping Amateur Classic, another fantastic achievement.
