Sophia Cairns and Wee Vintage Secure STX-UK Pony British Novice Second Round Victory at Tillyoch Equestrian

Sophia Cairns and Debbie McCorkell's Wee Vintage claimed a well-deserved victory in the STX-UK Pony British Novice Second Round at Tillyoch Equestrian, securing their place at the Championship Final with a standout performance.
A number of rider combinations came forward to tackle Peter Gillespie's course, with four combinations producing clear rounds in the opening phase to progress to the second round.
As the competition intensified, Sophia Cairns and Wee Vintage proved to be the only combination to jump clear in both the first and second rounds, guaranteeing themselves the win and qualification for the Final. With victory already secured, the pair elected to withdraw from the final round, bringing an impressive day's competition to a close.
Second place went to Holly Milne riding Brynmeillion Mr Fantastic. After producing a clear first-round performance to progress, the combination incurred 16 faults in the second round to finish as runners-up.

Where do I even start with this pony Wee Vintage, I’ve had her for just over a year now after unfortunately losing my pony of a lifetime. When I got her, I knew she had big boots to fill and she’s honestly just been a dream since day one, every time I enter the arena I just know she is going to try her best for me. I feel like we just get each other, I can honestly trust her with all my heart to give her all every time she enters the ring, she is really worth her weight in gold.
