Myers Time To Shine
Monday 22 December 2025

Jake Myers and Gamin des Ronets clinched the evoke Under 25 British Championship after their blistering jump-off clear round left them over a second ahead of their nearest rivals.
The British pair was the first to go in the jump-off and laid down an unassailable target of 37.34 seconds. Of the seven remaining competitors, Emma Crawford and Dukes of Hazzard (GBR) got the closest, clocking a time of 38.85 seconds to take the runner-up spot. This was Emma's fifth year competing at London International Horse Show.
“I had to set the pressure and do a decent round but not overcook it because I knew you’d have to be clear to win,” said Jake.
“It’s always nervous watching people try and beat your time but I couldn't have asked any more of him.”
Jake, who’s 21 and is based in Shropshire, has been riding the nine-year-old Selle Francais stallion for five years.
“I've had him since he was four years old so it's a special win for me and my family and everyone that trains me,” continued Jake.
“He's been really super. He had a good win at the start of the year in a National Grand Prix but this would be his biggest win to-date and my biggest win to-date so hopefully things keep rising.”
Emily Gullliver piloted Glamor de Vie into third place.
