JESSICA MENDOZA WINS THE 2009 JOHN WHITAKER INTERNATIONAL WINTER JA CLASSIC QUALIFIER

Twelve year old Jessica Mendoza from Chippenham, Wiltshire took first place in the 2009 John Whitaker International Winter JA Classic qualifier, held at Towerlands Park. The Final takes place at The Royal Show in the summer.
Jessica riding Sarah Mendozas’ eleven year old chestnut mare, Tixylix jumped three clear rounds in a jump off time of 43.29 seconds. Second place went to Chad Fellows from Shifnal, Shropshire. Chad riding Amanda Hilliards’ twelve year old dark brown gelding, Snatch had four faults in the second jump off in a time of 46.05 seconds. Third place went to Abbie Griffin from Wolverhampton, West Midlands. Abbie riding Heidi Griffins’ thirteen year old bay gelding, Maximus Gladiator had four faults in the first jump off in a time of 41.34 seconds.
