Horse & Country TV is delighted to announce that its UK and German channels are now available on Amazon Channels, the new service accessible to Amazon Prime members.

Amazon Channels launched today in the UK and Germany with a line-up of genre channels including, in the UK, Discovery Channel, Eurosport Player and ITV Hub +, plus Amazon’s own Bollywood channel, Heera, and in Germany Syfy Horror, GEO Television, Cirkus, Motorvision TV and others.

Amazon Prime members in the UK and Germany will now be able to add a variety of individual channels to their Amazon Prime Video viewing experience.  The new subscription channels launched today will be available alongside Amazon Original Series and exclusive TV shows such as The Grand Tour, The Man in the High Castle and Mr Robot, which are available for Prime members in the UK on Prime Video.

Equestrian sports and lifestyle fans will be able to view Horse & Country’s live channel, all shows from the past 10 days’ schedule, and other selected video on demand.   Viewers can subscribe to the channels for £3.99 or €3.99 per month.

H&C covers all the top international tournaments in jumping, dressage, eventing, driving and other disciplines, plus national level events such as the Royal Windsor Horse Show, the Hickstead Derby, and the Horse of the Year Show in the UK, and the Rolex Grand Prix from Aachen, the Hamburg Spring Derby and the World Cup Jumping, Dressage and Driving from Neumünster, Stuttgart and Leipzig in Germany, as well as training and behind the scenes programmes, reality shows and fascinating documentaries.

H&C TV CEO, Heather Killen, said of the launch: “We are delighted to be joining Amazon Channels at its launch in Europe.  This is a landmark development in the ongoing distribution of H&C TV and further confirms our position as the leading equestrian themed channel across multiple markets.”

“For the first time, Prime members in the UK and Germany will be able to choose to watch premium TV channels without having to sign up to a bundle or a contract, giving them the freedom to pay for only what they want to watch,” said Alex Green, MD, Europe, Amazon Channels. “From live sport to Bollywood, arthouse cinema to reality TV, and award-winning TV shows from popular channels like Discovery Channel and ITV, Amazon Channels gives power back to customers to choose exactly what they want to watch.”
