Four riders share top spot in the STX-UK Pony Foxhunter Second Round at Kelsall Hill Equestrian

The Summer Pony Premier at Kelsall Hill Equestrian showcased the penultimate STX-UK Pony Foxhunter Second Round competition of 2024. The event drew 32 riders to compete in the class and tackle the initial round, with five combinations jumping clear in the first round.
Progressing through to the second round an impressive four of these combinations jumped round the course to secure their second clear round of the class. With the top four pony/rider combinations, excluding those already qualified, guaranteed a spot in the STX-UK Pony Foxhunter Final at the Horse of the Year Show, the riders opted to share the victory and forgo a jump-off. This decision resulted in equal first positions for the following pony/rider pairs:
Ruby Anna Birchenough and Roll On Wave
Georgiana Hills and Lucky Boys Strike
Aimee Paxton and Madoghill Gorowny
Sienna Palin and Agharanny Chloe Clover
For competitors still aiming to qualify, two more opportunities remain: the Second Round competition at Wales and West’s Summer Pony Premier and the STX-UK Pony Foxhunter Masters at the British Showjumping National Championships. The latter is open to any pony that has previously placed in the top 8 or jumped one treble clear at any Second Round competition.
