Zoe Potter claims the SEIB Winter Novice Qualifier win at Addington Manor Equestrian Centre

Last Sunday evening at Addington Manor Equestrian Centre in Buckinghamshire, saw fifty-four competitors come forward to jump in the SEIB Winter Novice Qualifier and it was Nottinghamshire’s Zoe Potter who took the win.
With just two qualification places on offer for this year’s Championship Final which will be held at the prestigious Royal International Horse Show at Hickstead, West Sussex next summer, a strong fielded class followed. One third of the initial combinations claimed a place in the jump off with just six combinations going on to produce a double clear.
Riding Vivien Thompson’s 6 year-old chestnut gelding Marvin the Fifth, Zoe from Woodborough, Nottinghamshire produced an immaculate first round to claim a place in the jump off. This pair managed to cross the finish line in 37.17 seconds beating second placed Jake Myers and Calcourt Qualvados by 1.17 seconds.
