A British Horse Feeds Speedi-Beet HOYS Grade C Qualifier took place at the popular South of England Show on Friday. Fifty-nine combinations came forward to take on Ben Townley’s track and it was William Funnell from Dorking, Surrey riding The Billy Stud’s, Billy McDermit who took the honours.
The initial starters were reduced to thirteen for the jump-off and with everything still to play for, William produced another faultless round in what proved to be an unbeatable time of 39.08 seconds to take the win with a double clear,
