Third Cohort for the ‘Young Professional Programme’ Announced

With thanks to Sport England, British Showjumping is pleased to announce the third cohort of Young Professionals.

This twelve month funded programme will focus on developing the member’s equestrian careers, by progressing them in their chosen profession through non-riding qualifications and experience such as the UKCC qualification. The members will be given relevant opportunities to further their development; this could be via hands on experience with a top level Coach through to business workshops.

Again, following last year, there is a mix of preferred professions amongst the successful applicants, with this year being evenly split between those hoping to follow a career within Coaching or Breeding.  Both programmes will include a ridden element and those that have been accepted on to the programme are:

Amelia Bowring (Lincolnshire) – Coaching

Beth Vernon (Nottinghamshire) - Coaching

Issy King (Staffordshire) - Breeding

Stephanie Gumn (Wolverhampton) – Breeding

We wish all four of the successful applicants best of luck through the programme and look forward to developing their future.
