THE FIRST TEAM JUMPING COMPETITION COMMENCES IN RIO TOMORROW - MAKE SURE TO TUNE IN!

The first Team Jumping competition starts at the Deodoro Olympic Equestrian Centre tomorrow, 16th August, at 2pm BST and will be live broadcast on the BBC Red Button.
The starting order for the competition was determined by yesterday’s results which saw Great Britain finish in joint 8th position alongside USA, Spain and Sweden. The full results from the competition yesterday can be found on the following link http://bit.ly/2aWZBv7 .
Allowing for a 15 minute break whilst the arena is rolled after every 23 horses and an approximate two minutes per competitor we anticipate the four Team GBR riders to be competing at around the following times:
26th – Nick Skelton with Beverley Widdowson’s Big Star – 3.05pm BST
37th – Ben Maher on Jane Fobes Clark’s Tic Tac – 3.25pm BST
48th – Michael Whitaker on Beverley Widdowson’s Cassionato – 4.05pm BST
59th – John Whitaker on Team Harmony Management Co Ltd’s Ornellaia – 4:25pm BST
The competition also counts as the second Individual qualifier so there will be nine riders who are competing as individuals who will be the first into the arena tomorrow.
