RESIGNATION OF THE BRITISH EQUESTRIAN FEDERATION CHAIR

Thursday 03 October 2019

The Board of the British Equestrian Federation (BEF) wishes to announce that Mohamed Elsarky has decided to step down from his role as independent chair of the BEF.

The Board recognises the considerable time demands of the role at present are more than Mohamed is able to commit to alongside his current international business interests.

During his time at the BEF, Mohamed has provided effective leadership to the Board, including significantly improving the governance of the BEF, strengthening relationships with its Member Bodies, funding bodies and the FEI and development of a five-year strategy in consultation with Member Bodies.

The Board wishes to thank Mohamed for his valued contribution to the BEF throughout his tenure and wish him every success in the future.
