Potential 2021 programme following JA Pony Riders

British Showjumping have been in discussions with a production company in respect of a potential programme for 2021 documenting a group of pony riders hoping to compete on JA ponies across the summer Pony Premier circuit.

They would like to hear from aspiring young riders who have the ability and determination to succeed.  Riders also need to have the ambition to qualify for Horse of the Year Show with a view to winning the Leading Junior Showjumper title.

Should the programme be commissioned, filming would start in the Spring of 2021.  With this in mind the production company are now looking for potential cast members that can be included within the initial submission.  They are hoping to identify riders that span England, Scotland Wales.

If any parents/guardians of children competing at this level next year would like their child to be considered, should the programme go ahead, could they please email a short video (shot landscape) of their child talking to camera saying a little bit about themselves and their overall ambition along with anything else they think would give an indication of their characters and personality.  Can the video also include footage of them with their pony and also include a piece from the parent/guardian confirming their consent.

If the video can then be emailed, or a link to where it has been uploaded, to press@britishshowjumping.co.uk    The email also needs to include the parent/guardian’s name and contact details, along with the child’s name and member number.

All submissions to be made by 5pm Sunday 11th July.
