Oliver Tuff Shows them Again

Sunday 20 December 2015

The Mistletoe Mini Stakes at Olympia, The London International Horse Show,  saw some of the nation’s youngest showjumpers take centre stage with their 128cm and under ponies. The vast crowds packing the grandstands really got behind these incredible younger riders with them applauding and cheering on their talent and competitive determination with gusto.

It was 12 year-old Oliver Tuff from Exeter that claimed the class as his own with his jump-off clear in a time of 28.91 seconds.with Mandy Hall's pony Show Me Again.   The only other jump-off clear in the competition came in the form of 11 year-old Claudia Moore from Stondon Massy with her mother Katrina's grey pony Peppino II Grande.  Their slightly slower time of 31.36 seconds saw them take 2nd place behind Oliver.

Third place went to 11 year-old Cheshire based Madison Heath on Red Alert II when they completed the jump off on 4 faults in a time of 26.99 seconds.
