Nicole Lockhead Anderson Triumphs in The Stable Company HOYS 138cms Qualifier at Tillyoch Equestrian Centre

14 year-old Nicole Lockhead Anderson was on a roll at Tillyoch Equestrian Centre. Already a winner on Gangnam Style II in the Blue Chip Pony Newcomer Second Round, she forged ahead in The Stable Company HOYS 138cm to take the top spot with new ride My Gem Pearle.
Only three from thirty-eight starters jumped clear in the first round, and these consistent three again posted penalty-free rounds to access the final jump-off.
Drawn second, Nicole from Banchory, Aberdeenshire marred her final round with four faults, but she was the quickest by 1.64 seconds and jumped to the top of the leader board on My Gem Pearle, a nine-year-old mare she has only recently started competing.
13 year-old Shaunie Greig from Camelon, Falkirk headed into second aboard the 15-year-old Irish mare Drumaclan Flight, already a winner in the qualifier at South View.
13 year-old Ella Derbyshire from Preston, Lancashire was assured of a HOYS place with third on the 18-year-old mare Thelma’s Gift.
