Matthew Sampson and Ebolensky, 2nd in Canteleu CSI3* Grand Prix

Monday 01 October 2018

Yorkshire’s Matthew Sampson took 2nd place in the CSI3* Grand Prix in Canteleu with Ebolensky, the 9 year-old KWPN grey mare by Clinton.

Fifty-nine combinations came forward to contest the 1.50m track. Matthew and Ebolensky were the only British combination in the top ten and one of five double clears out of the fifteen who made it through to the jump off. His jump-off clear in a time of 38.31secs was enough to finish second behind Felcie Bertrand (FRA) with Chacco Rouge who took the title.
