Laura Renwick wins International Accumulator at Olympia

Laura Renwick gave Great Britain a win in the opening International class of the day today, Saturday, at Olympia the London International Horse Show when she headed the line up in the Christmas Stakes Accumulator.

Riding Nancy Pinchen’s 11 year-old bay mare Con Chilli their top score of 65 points alongside ten other combinations in a time of 43.88 seconds was one that others just couldn’t catch.

The only combination  to break the 44 second barrier, Laura & Con Chilli maintained a clear lead with their closest threat coming from fellow British rider Will Funnell with the homebred Billy Angelo owned by Julie Slade.  Accruing the same number of points, Will broke the finish line in 44.31 seconds to take 2nd place whilst Ireland took 3rd in the form of Anthony Condon with Fiona van het Lemmenshof.
