Laura Renwick and Bintang finish close 2nd in Bordeaux Grand Prix

The women certainly made a mark in Bordeaux by taking the top two places in the CSIO5* Grand Prix.  Penelope Leprevost managed to clinch the title with just a 0.25second lead ahead of GB’s Laura Renwick and Bintang II whom she has produced since a youngster.

From a starting field of 35 combinations there were only seven that jumped clear in the first round to qualify for the jump off.  The field was certainly a strong one with both Penelope and Laura being joined by Harrie Smolders, Jerome Guery, Marcus Ehning, Julien Epaillard and Cedric Angot however the ladies just couldn’t be beaten with the closest jump-off clear coming in the form of Jerome who broken the finish line half a second behind Laura.  Full results and times can be found on the following link http://bit.ly/1nZMWLO
