Jessica Hewitt wins top spot in the Equitop® Senior Newcomers Second Round at Richmond Equestrian Centre

Richmond Equestrian Centre played host to this week’s Equitop® Senior Newcomers Second Round on Saturday, and it was Jessica Hewitt from Pontefract, West Yorkshire who secured the win aboard her own 7 year-old bay gelding, Kayloma H&H.
A strong starting field of forty-seven combinations came forward to contest the twelve-fence track, with sixteen jumping double clear for a place in the final jump off. Keeping a cool head under pressure, Jessica piloted Kayloma H&H across the finish line in 43.23 seconds to take first place, nearly 2 seconds ahead of her nearest rival.
