Guy Williams triumphs in 3* Grand Prix in Mons Ghlin

The CSI3* Grand Prix in Mons Ghlin, Belgium saw a field of sixty combinations come forward to compete over the 1.50m course on Sunday with eleven starting combinations producing a first round clear.

Guy Williams was the only competitor flying the British flag and he did so in great style piloting the 14 year-old Selle Francais bred stallion Rouge de Ravel to the top spot. They posted a clear round in the jump-off with 0.88 of a second to spare ahead of France’s Francois Boudant with Ciento who finished in 38.73 seconds. Peter Steiner (SUI) with Celeste 26 posted a steadier time of 41.32 seconds for third place.
