Gemma Mackintosh commands victory in the Horseware Bronze League Qualifier at The Cabin Equestrian Centre

Gemma Mackintosh from Angus is one step closer to the Horse of the Year Show Horseware Bronze League Championship after landing the top spot in the Horseware Bronze League Qualifier at The Cabin Equestrian Centre in Aberdeenshire with WSF Oslo.

Five of the twenty starters produced first round clears over course-designer Colin Hexley’s 11-fence track and just one was lost in round two to make a four-way jump-off. Fittingly, three treble clears filled the three qualifying places for the Horseware Bronze League Semi Finals in August.

In a tense jump-off where just three would go forward to the next stage, Gemma forged ahead to take the win on her ride of five years, the Laurin 12-year-old gelding WSF Oslo, by a comfortable 2.51 seconds.

The Cabin Equestrian Centre – Sunday 15th July 2018
Horseware Bronze League Qualifier
1st Gemma Mackintosh & WSF Oslo – 0/0/0 - 41.94 seconds
2nd Susan Robson & Bonmahon Fancy Carel – 0/0/0 - 44.45 seconds
3rd Robert Sinclair & El Siera – 0/0/0 - 51.31 seconds

NB: Qualifications will be updated pending official grading of results.
