Emma Stoker 2nd in CSI3* Belgium Grand Prix

Monday 09 July 2018

It was a 2nd place finish for Emma Stoker from County Durham over the weekend in the CSI3* 1.50m Grand Prix in Knokke, Belgium.

Riding Robert Young’s 13 year-old mare Townhead Tallulah V she delivered a foot-perfect double clear in a time of 43.16 seconds to finish just behind Piergiorgio Bucci (ITA) who took the title with Deniro.

The field of forty-four starters had seen thirteen combinations qualify for the second round having posted a clear in the first round.  The jump-off brought with it some fast paced riding with only six managing to deliver another clear to finish on zero penalties.   Emma, as the second fastest of those, relegated Catherine Van Roosbroeck (BEL) into 3rd place behind her with their time of 43.24 seconds.
