Emma Sargeant wins SEIB Winter Novice Qualifier at SouthView Equestrian Centre

On Sunday, SouthView Equestrian Centre played host to the penultimate SEIB Winter Novice Qualifier with Emma Sargeant from Gayton, Staffordshire taking home first place riding Whisper’s Love, a 6 year-old bay mare owned by Patricia Morris.

From a starting field of forty-nine competitors, just twenty-four navigated a first round clear for a place in the jump-off. With a late draw, Emma used speed to her advantage as she crossed the finish line with a double clear in 38.67 seconds. Hot on their heels and taking the runner up spot was Thomas Dovkants & Gmail, who jumped a double clear in 39.85 seconds.
