Ellie Fannan and Williams Unlikely Lad Win the Pony Restricted Rider 1.00m Championship Final

Ellie Fannan and Williams Unlikely Lad came out on top today in the Pony Restricted Rider 1.00m Championship Final in the Andrews Bowen Indoor Arena. After an impressive preliminary round, Ellie and Williams Unlikely Lad continued their successful streak right into the final and secured themselves the championship title.
The pony-rider duos were on top form today and gave spectators an entertaining show, with fabulous rounds by Anna Summer riding Our Dun who’s times were speedy although not fast enough to win them the championship
The first round saw the combinations fly around the course with only a few riders having an unlucky rail. The success of the first round ensured the pressure would be high in the jump off.
There were seventeen riders that made it into the jump off. The jump off was fast with many riders demonstrating consistency achieving a double clear. With 50% of the riders jumping a double clear, the deciding factor was time.
Ultimately it was Ellie Fannan and her lovely pony Williams Unlikely Lad who emerged the victor. The stellar performance put in by the pair saw them finish ahead of a very competitive field.
