With a clear three second lead, Daniel May from Petersfield, Hampshire became the winner of the Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Second Round at Chard Equestrian on Sunday, riding Vanessa Martin’s 7 year-old bay gelding, Candide De Reve.
An initial starting field of 39 competitive riders came forward, with 13 combinations delivering two double clears for a place in the final jump-off. With the pressure on, Daniel kept her cool to jump around the track in 30.24 seconds to claim first place and a triple clear.
