British Showjumping’s Team NAF Youth Squads announced for Opglabbeek Nations Cups

The following squads have been selected to represent Great Britain under the title sponsor banner of Team NAF in the Children, Junior and Young Rider Nations Cups in Opglabbeek, Belgium. The competition takes place between the 4th – 7th April 2019 at Sentower Park.

Children

Charlotte Bowman, aged 13, from Swansea, West Glamorgan with Elido Esprit, a 10 year-old black mare owned by Mandy Bowman

Jasmin Clark, aged 12, from Southampton, Hampshire with Curosa, a 12 year-old bay mare owned by Jo Broadway

Madeline Coakley, aged 14, from Preston, Lancashire with Topwood Tandarra, an 11 year-old British bred chestnut mare owned by Simon Coakley

Alena Hughes, aged 12, from Doncaster, South Yorkshire with C’Mon Girl 2, a 13 year-old grey mare owned by Victoria Hughes

Chloe Lemieux, aged 12, from Southampton, Hampshire with Freya, a 9 year-old bay mare owned by Robert Lemieux

Eleanor Simpson, aged 13, from Newton Abbot, Devon with My Lucky Day, a 10 year-old chestnut mare owned by Susan Simpson

Ben Clark, aged 16, from Southampton, Hampshire with Valentino, a 17 year-old grey gelding owned by Kim Clark

Allana Clutterbuck, aged 18, from Upminster, Essex with Urlevent du Bary, an 11 year-old bay stallion owned by Marina Storgato

Lily Freeman-Attwood, aged 17, from Shrewsbury, Shropshire with Karibou Horta, a 9 year-old chestnut gelding owned by Eurohorse – Axel Verlooy

Matilda Lanni, aged 15, from Peterborough, Cambridgeshire with Newbridge’s Master Brown, a 13 year-old bay gelding owned by Stacey Webb

Antonia Platt, aged 17, from Chelmsford, Essex with Amigo, an 8 year-old bay gelding owned by Rosalind Platt

Oliver Tuff, aged 16, from Totnes, Devon with Darino B, an 11 year-old bay gelding owned by Jo Bishop and Justin Tuff

Georgina Burchmore-Eames, aged 18, from Northchurch, Hertfordshire with Wilandri E, a 16 year-old bay gelding owned by Jack Eames

Taisie de Gruchy, aged 20, from St. Ouen, Jersey with Winner of Picobello Z, a 12 year-old dark bay gelding owned by Lauren de Gruchy

Joe Fernyhough, aged 18, from Stonehouse, Gloucestershire with Calcourt Quicktime, a 9 year-old British bred brown gelding owned by Rowland Fernyhough

Alex Gill, aged 21, from Northallerton, North Yorkshire with Fyenda P, a 9 year-old bay mare owned by J Poppen

Jodie Hall-Mcateer, aged 18, from Borehamwood, Hertfordshire with either Coquin de Coquerie Z, a 10 year-old bay stallion owned by Mandy Hall or Fantom, a 10 year-old British bred bay gelding owned by Mandy Hall or Salt’n Peppa, a 10 year-old dark chestnut gelding owned by Mandy Hall

The Children and Young Rider Nations Cups competitions take place on Saturday 6th April whilst the Junior Nations Cup will be on Sunday 7th April. The Children and Young Rider Grand Prix’s take place on Thursday 4th April whilst the Junior Grand Prix will be on Friday 5th April. The Chef d’Equipe’s accompanying the teams will be Tony Newbery and Clare Whitaker.
