BRITISH HORSE FOUNDATION LAUNCH BETTER BEGINNINGS PRACTICE GUIDE

The British Horse Foundation will launch the Better Beginnings Practice Guide on 9 October, creating a best practice guide for young horse development, blending cutting-edge research with expert knowledge.
The guide, which will be available on their website, britishhorsefoundation.org.uk, will offer the latest and proven methods and focus on the improved management and welfare of the young horse from conception to 2 years. The purpose of the project is to address and improve equine and sustainable welfare with a new approach, by improving breeding and production practice up to the age of two when the growth plates fuse.
