Applications for the 2023/2024 Gold Development Programme are now open!

British Showjumping, in conjunction with Sport England, is delighted to announce that we are now accepting applications for the 2023/2024 Gold Development Programme.

The Programme, which runs annually and is funded by Sport England, intends to support riders aiming to establish themselves at the 1.40m -1.50m level, as well as supporting riders that are aiming to be selected for World Class Performance Pathway Programme.

The first training camp will be held at British Showjumping’s National Training Centre (NTC) on the 6th and 7th December. During these camps, athletes will participate in training sessions with the lead coaches for the programme, Matt Lanni and Nicola McLeish. Each camp will also have unmounted sessions to include saddlers, farriers, equine physiotherapists, rider strength and conditioning, clean sport talks, plus much more.

As part of the Programme, riders will also receive support from the coaches at UK International shows.

Please complete and return the application form, which can be downloaded here by email to sportteam@britishshowjumping.co.uk

Once the closing date has passed all applications will be reviewed and you will be contacted
regarding the outcome of your application.

Applications close on Monday, 27th November 2023
