A win for Toby Fry in the National 148cm Championship

With just one double clear, the course proved tough for the National 148cm Championship taking place in Championship Arena 1. It was a well-deserved win for Toby Fry who took the win with Zucan V over a technical course.

“As I was first in the ring I told myself to kick on and set a good time, in addition to this I’ve achieved my two aims of qualifying for Horse of the Year Show and Olympia in one hit!”

The combination came eighth in the 148 Championship at HOYS last year, and will now be returning this year to give it their best shot at claiming the 2019 title. The partnership will also be making their first appearance at Olympia this year.

Toby travelled from Wiltshire, after giving Zucan V a well deserved break, where he’s returned in great form.

Ella Quigley and Rock Dee Jay take second place, with Elissa Herrmann and Superbre de Laloena taking third.
