2019 National Just for Schools Training camp proves to be a resounding success

Wednesday 07 August 2019

Following a great two days of training at the 2019 National Just for Schools (JFS) Training Camp delivered over the weekend in Stow-on-the-Wold, our JFS league winners are all set up and ready to go for the British Showjumping National Championships!

The National Training Camp comprised of two days of engaging and exciting content including jumping and flat work sessions, sport Psychology/sport science workshops and saddlery sessions giving each rider a great opportunity to develop their partnership with their pony/horse!

The training camp, funded by the Worshipful Company of Saddlers, provides a great opportunity for the winners of the leagues to be recognised for their efforts throughout the season. Beaminster School representative Katy Haydon praised the opportunity for her schools members to attend the camp ‘I would like to say a big thank you from all of the Beaminster School members, they all really enjoyed themselves and learnt lots from the camp!’

The impressive 2019 Training camp provided a platform for the eligible teams and individuals to gain extra training and development before the Summer Championships in August and was thoroughly enjoyed by all involved!

Who is eligible?
The winning team and top 3 individuals* in each ‘Just for Schools’ height league finishing at the end of June are invited to the training camp. *

*If one of the top 3 individuals is already invited to the training camp this invite will pass down the league.
