SCOTTISH OFFICIALS SEMINAR & EVENING SOCIAL

All Scottish Officials were invited by the Scottish Committee to attend a networking event on 15th February 2023 at Airth Castle.
37 Officials attended the day, which consisted of an afternoon seminar followed by a social evening.
It was a very informative day with discussions on recent rule amendments and additions, social license of the horse and welfare at shows, and working through scenarios.
A fantastic presentation and quiz was collated and delivered by Jane Pelly our National Level 3 & FEI Level 3 Judge and National Level 2 & FEI Level 3 Steward, Kaz McCoy our National Level 3 & FEI Level 2 Steward, presented on behalf of the Stewards, and Shaun Sands Level 4 Course Designer, was the Course Designer representative.
Thank you to the Scottish Committee for organising the event and Airth Castle for making us feel so welcome once again. Thank you to the panel, Jane Pelly, Kaz McCoy & Shaun Sands and thank you to Horsescotland for helping to fund the event, we work closely with Horsescotland on all aspects of funding and training, and we are extremely grateful for the Member Body Support Programme which helps support events like these.
