NEW MEMBERS ALWAYS WELCOME – OPEN TO ALL!
The Scottish Academies are back up and running after the summer, offering monthly training round the country at various venues using our qualified coaches.
Joining an Academy gives you access to attend the annual Academy Camp, held in April each year and a chance to qualify to represent Scotland at the National Academy Championships held at Stoneleigh Park in August (21yrs and under)
Also available to Academy Members are the Scottish Regional Academy Team Championships, being held in February and a chance for 6 Academy children to qualify for the Royal Highland Show.
Dates & Eligibility for Academy Events 2027:
- 1st Academy Qualifier Show for Academy Championships at Stoneleigh in August – Sat 27th February – Morris
Minimum 3 x Academy sessions since August 2026 by date of the Final
- Scottish Regional Academy Team Championships – Sun 28th February – Morris
Must be a member of an Academy
- Scottish Academy Camp – 7th – 9th April – Morris
Minimum 2 x Academy sessions since August 2026 to attend camp
- RHS Development Championship Qualifier – 9th April – Morris (within Camp Show Schedule)
Minimum 3 x Academy sessions since August 2026
- British Showjumping National Academy Championships – 9th – 11th August – Stoneleigh Park Warwickshire
Minimum 3 x Academy sessions since August 2026 by date of the Final.
At Academy Training we work through the NAF Star Performance Awards, which includes a chance to compete at the NAF finals at the annual National Academy Championships and on completion of the 5th & 6th Award free membership opportunities.
