Died peacefully at Mount Vale Care Home on March 9, aged 90 years. Retired farmer of Leake Hall and Borrowby.

Devoted husband of the late Ruth, much loved father, grandad, great grandad and brother.

Funeral Service takes place at St. Mary’s Church Leake on Wednesday March 21 at 11.00am.

It is requested that colourful ties are worn.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu to The Friends of The Friarage Hospital, Northallerton.

The photograpgh shows George just before a day’s show jump judging, possibly at the Great Yorkshire Show.
