White House Farm Equestrian plays host to the first Club Show

The first Club show was held on Sunday 12th June at White House Farm Equestrian in Eagle Moor, Lincoln.  White House Farm Equestrian is a family run business which holds British Showjumping affiliated competitions and training for every level of horse or pony and rider.
 
Many riders braved the torrential rain to get a taster of this new category of show, and they were not disappointed. White House had prepared their rings well with the grass field in excellent condition. Course Designer Peter Rowe had also built some fantastic courses which were inviting to all the combinations that went though the start gate.

The new Club membership is aimed at grass roots competitors who feel comfortable jumping between 70cm to 1.00m.  British Showjumping’s objective is to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere where riders participate for points not prize money.  Points will be allocated to the combination and accumulated for a Regional Championship.  Riders do not have to compete in their own Region to accumulate points.
 
Benefits of becoming a Club Member are vast and at only £30 per year should not be missed. Some of the benefits of which are below:
 
- British Showjumping Insurance
- Access to copies of the on line British Showjumping magazine
- All results to be graded – thereby giving a full competition record
- Club Membership includes two “National Tickets to Ride” allowing you to compete
 in two national classes per year to encourage progression to National Membership
- Courses will be designed and judged by British Showjumping officials to ensure that  
 the courses you ride are safe and that rules are applied consistently and fairly
- Access training opportunities at a reduced member rate
- Prestigious Regional Championships
- No age restriction for those riding ponies
