Under 23 Line Up Set for Olympia

The final line-up for the 2015 Dodson & Horrell and the World Class Programme Under 23 British Championships has been confirmed, with twenty-four combinations set to compete at The London International Horse Show, Olympia next Saturday morning (19 December).
Among the starters are last year’s winning combination Kerry Brennan and Wellington M, sisters Millie and Pippa Allen, Chloe Winchester who took top honours at last weeks’ qualifying event and Jessica Mendoza, who competed at her first senior European Championships earlier this year, helping to secure qualification for Rio 2016 for the GB squad.

World Class Showjumping Performance Manager Di Lampard commented; “We’ve seen some great rounds produced during the qualifying series this year and I’m looking forward to seeing these talented athletes competing on the Olympia stage next week.”

There is a total prize fund of £15,300 for the final, with training vouchers to the value of £2900 awarded to the top eight athletes as well as a £1,500 bonus cash prize to be equally split between those that jump a clear round in rounds one and two.
The Championship is supported by Dodson & Horrell who is Europe's leading equine feed manufacturer and a highly respected worldwide authority on animal nutrition and feeding. Dodson & Horrell’s involvement of the Under 23 British Championship demonstrates their history of support in equestrian sports across all levels, from sponsorship of British Dressage, British Showjumping, Riding Club and Pony Club events to title sponsorship of the iconic Dodson & Horrell Chatsworth International Horse Trials. In addition, as official supplier of nutrition to Equestrian Team GBR, Dodson & Horrell will play a pivotal advisory role in the lead up to the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The World Class Programme aims to provide Britain’s elite riders with the best preparation to represent Equestrian Team GBR on the international stage and is funded by National Lottery and Exchequer funds via UK Sport.
