TRETORN YOUNG RIDERS SECOND IN WIERDEN

The Tretorn Young Rider International Team, led by Chef d’Equipe Corinne Bracken, took second place in last night’s Nations Cup in Wierden, The Netherlands.
 
With all four team members jumping clear in the first round, Great Britain went confidently into the second sharing pole position with the home nation.
 
The second round saw Matthew Sampson (Chianti Classico) lower two fences for eight faults, Sam Hutton (Olympia III) had a very unlucky four faults and both Joe Clayton (Saveur) and Tim Page (Quentin Tarrantino) emulated their first round clears.
 
Victory went to the Netherlands who finished on a zero score, Spain took third position.

Earlier in the day the Tretorn Junior International Team finished in seventh place in the Junior Nations Cup which was again won by the home nation, The Netherlands with Norway taking second and Germany in third. Jessie Drea (Tucatie) lowered a single pole for four faults, Henry Lacey (Cardoso 12) finished with nine penalties, Graham Gillespie (USA Today) finished his round with twelve and George Whitaker (Carnaval Path) jumped a clear round.
