Thomas Whitaker Wins Horse&Hound Foxhunter Second Round

Eighteen year old Thomas Whitaker from Barnsley, South Yorkshire took first place in the Horse&Hound Foxhunter Second Round held at BSJA Area 15 Show, at Allerton Park. The Championship Final will take place at The Horse of the Year Show in October.
Thomas riding Steven Whitaker’s eight year old black mare, Charlett jumped three clear rounds in a jump off time of 56.36 seconds. Second place went to Douglas Duffin from Dollar, Clackmannanshire riding Fiona Horne’s six year old chestnut stallion, Clarius who jumped three clear rounds in a jump off time of 56.80 seconds. Third Place went to Alex Barr from Lanark, Lanarkshire riding Norman Smith’s nine year old chestnut gelding, Tristan. The pair had four faults in the jump off in a time of 43.37 seconds.
