TEAM FAIRFAX SQUADS ANNOUNCED FOR DEAUVILLE NATIONS CUP SHOW

British Showjumping is pleased to announce the Team Fairfax Junior and Young Rider Squads representing Great Britain at the forthcoming FEI CSIO Junior and Young Rider Nations Cup Show in Deauville, France between the 22nd – 25th May 2014.
The competitors representing Great Britain will ride under the Team Fairfax banner with four from each squad being selected to compete on their respective Nations Cup teams. The Nations Cup competitions take place on Friday 23rd May with the Juniors at 13.00 hrs (local time) and the Young Riders at 16:30 hrs.
The Squads are as follows:
Juniors
Millie Allen, aged 16 from Stockton-on-Tees, Cleveland with her father Peter’s 8 year-old grey mare Grenoble 46 and Senator International’s 12 year-old bay gelding Senator Cantino II
Tania Moody, aged 16 and based in Spain with 11 year-old bay mare Bo Du Rouet Z and 13 year-old bay mare Nicky D Artemis, both of whom are owned by her father Kevin
Christie Pritchard, aged 17 from Holyhead, Gwynedd with her mother Tracy’s 9 year-old bay mare Aville and 11 year-old bay gelding Waldemar
Jake Saywell, aged 17 from Newark, Nottinghamshire with 8 year-old bay gelding Grand Cru Van Paemel and 9 year-old black gelding Special K IV, both of whom are owned by Rachel Gascoine
Chloe Smith, aged 18 from Shrewley, Warwickshire with her father Robert’s 9 year-old bay mare Bavi
Young Riders
Alfie Bradstock, aged 19 (20 on 25/05/2014) from Wantage, Oxfordshire with Ann Solis’ 8 year-old bay gelding Benedictus and Graham Fletcher’s 11 year-old chestnut gelding Wilhelmus S
Rebecca Marsh, aged 20 from Warrington, Cheshire with Ian Kellett’s 11 year-old Figaro IV and Martin Dawes’ 17 year-old grey stallion Nelson Z
Abigail Newbery, aged 19 from Southampton, Hampshire with her father Tony’s 12 year-old black gelding PX Darco
Laura Robinson, aged 19 from Northallerton, North Yorkshire with her father Neal’s 10 year-old brown gelding Jonti
Dominic Webb, aged 19 from Knutsford, Cheshire with 19 year-old bay gelding Ashdale Futuro and 11 year-old chestnut stallion Whin Whin II, both of whom are owned by his mother Isabelle

The British Showjumping youth teams are sponsored by Fairfax Saddles. Fairfax’s primary aim is to improve the performance of the competition horse. All the saddles and girths are developed using the most advanced technology and are tested extensively. All research and design work is carried out under the direction of Vanessa Fairfax, an ex-International showjumper and University qualified designer.
