Squibb Demolition Foxhunter second round at Weston Lawns Pony Premier

Day two at the Weston Lawns Pony Premier Show in Warwickshire played host to the Squibb Demolition Foxhunter second round. This class had three Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) tickets up for grabs and five Cushionbed British Showjumping Scope Festival tickets.

Emily Ward from Neston in Cheshire added to her HOYS qualification tally after previously qualifying King Mac in the Blue Chip Feed Balancer Newcomers second round and the Squibb Demolition Foxhunter second at SouthView. This time partnering her fathers (Nick) grey seven year old gelding Prospect Eddie Emily came out on top winning this very competitive class.

Taking second place and the second of three HOYS tickets was Wiltshire based Jessica Mendoza riding her mothers (Sarah) seven year old bay mare Saorsie.

Third place and the final HOYS ticket went to sixteen year old Rosie Gunn from Nottingham. Rosie was partnering Victoria Douglas-Jones eight year old bay mare Zophie III.

Fouth place went to the already qualified Zachery Beesley riding Springs Equestrian Partnership’s nine year chestnut gelding Park Avenue II, meaning the remaining two Cushionbed British Showjumping Scope Festival tickets went to fifth and sixth place.

Fifth Place was Dorset based Tegan Jones riding her father’s (Philip) seven year old dun gelding Robe Duster. Sixth Place went to Lauren Blunsdon, from Cornwall riding her mothers (Cathrine) eleven year old brown gelding Ching Ching.
