The class was well attended and attracted 47 starting combinations, who were all hoping to claim their qualification for the Speedi-Beet HOYS Grade C Championship, which will be held at the Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) on Sunday 7th October 2012.
From the total number of starters, 15 combinations went clear in the first round to make it through to the final jump off and from these combinations, seven went on to produce the all important double clear needed to put them in contention for Championship Final qualification. With only three direct qualifying places available for the Speedi-Beet HOYS Grade C Championship Final, the placings came down to the final jump off times.

Nicole’s time of 31.97 seconds secured her the win and her qualification for the Speedi-Beet HOYS Grade C Championship Final.
Nicole also enjoyed further success in the class as she also finished in second place, this time on Sandra Pavitt’s eight-year-old stallion, Zeppeling.
